GROW UP
RELATIONAL FLUIDITY

Building Safe, Playful, and Deep Relationships That Stay Meaningful Over Time

A 4-Day GROW UP Retreat with Marcos Bina & Li

-Building safe, playful, and deep relationships that stay meaningful over time

June 26-29, Sweden - Tögel Art Centre

Dear beloveds,

We, Marcos and Li, are so excited to invite you to Relational Fluidity, a 4-day retreat where we explore how to build relationships rooted in unconditional love. Relationships that can grow stronger through change, where we choose love even when it's hard.

Relational fluidity isn’t a new relationship “identity.” It’s about ACCEPTING THE REALITY OF RELATIONSHIPS - They Change.

  • Relational Fluidity = Free & Secure Relating

For us, relational fluidity is the capacity to be ourselves fully in relationships, while staying in connection as they change.

It means meeting different phases of a relationship. Closeness, distance, shifts in roles, or changes in form. Without losing yourself, and without losing the connection.

It can look like deep connection and play in one phase, and more space in another. Friends becoming lovers, and later returning to friendship. Or trusting that a relationship can stay healthy, even if the romantic part comes to an end.

In this way, relationships can deepen, expand, or take new directions, while still being rooted in care, honesty, and connection.

It also allows for multiple deep relationships at the same time, whether romantic, sexual, or deep friendships.

For relational fluidity to be healthy and integrated, it needs to be grounded in the practice of building secure attachment.

Otherwise it can easily become something we live from the mind. It can look like openness, but still avoid depth. Or like trying different relational forms, while the same wounds and patterns quietly repeat.

In this work, we stay close to the body and the nervous system, so fluidity grows from something real.

Practicing Secure Relating

Becoming secure is not something we achieve once and for all. It is a practice that, over time, shows up as more relaxed relating, less drama, and a deeper understanding of our patterns.

We learn simple ways to regulate ourselves, to recognize where our reactions come from, and most importantly, to get closer to the root of our needs and how they can be met.

As this grows, relationships become less about depending on one person or doing everything alone. Instead, we learn how different people can support different parts of us, and how we can move more freely between roles in a relationship.

This is what makes fluidity feel grounded and sustainable in real life.

*This retreat is part of Li’s Grow Up body of work on somatics, attachment, and emotional maturity, brought to life in co-creation with Marcos’ grounded presence and years of lived experience in fluid, conscious relationships.

🌀 This retreat is for you if you're ready to:

  • Build relationships based on unconditional love. To recognize that intensity or drama is not the same as depth, and that distance does not have to mean disconnection.

  • Understand the difference between acting from old attachment patterns and relating from a more mature and grounded place.

  • Stay connected in intimacy, even when a relationship does not look exactly how you once imagined it would.

  • Play with becoming more fluid in gender roles and expression within your relationships, allowing different qualities in you to take space.

  • Allow your needs to be met in more than one place, and build several meaningful relationships in your life instead of placing everything on one person. This is relevant whether you are monogamous, non-monogamous, or exploring something in between.

  • Move with change in your relationships, without immediately needing to hold on or move away.

  • Let go of comparison and competition, and begin to feel how each person can have their own place in your life.

Step Into Love Instead Of Falling Into It!

And Build Meaningful Relationships That Stand The Challenges Of Time

🌱 Healing the pain of Rigid Relating

Most of us didn’t grow up learning how to navigate emotional maturity in relationships.

Society’s norms around relationships can feel narrow and limiting, but even when we try to break free, we often end up creating new boxes of how things should look.
New frameworks, new rules, same rigidity.

We weren’t shown how to adapt as we evolve or how to stay in love while staying in truth.
So we try to control.
And when that doesn’t work, we freeze, cling, perform, shut down, or walk away.

BUT THERE IS ANOTHER WAY
A way where change doesn’t mean disconnection.
Where needs don’t mean neediness.
Where boundaries are beautiful, and love flows more freely when there’s space to breathe.
Where you can create relationship structures that are true for you and are allowed to change over time.

💫 Why we are the ones holding this retreat on Relational Fluidity

A personal story from us, Marcos & Li

This way of relating is not theoretical for us. When Marcos and Li met, there was an immediate and deep connection. The fact that Marcos was gay was not something that needed to be solved. Instead, it opened a curiosity.

What happens if we don’t decide too quickly what this is supposed to be?

They explored closeness in different ways. Emotional, creative, sensual. Without forcing the connection into a fixed role.

Over time, it became clear that what they shared was not a romantic partnership, but something equally meaningful. A kind of soul-level companionship and collaboration.

Later, Adam entered Li’s life. Today he is her partner and the father of their child. What could have created separation instead became an expansion.

Marcos is now part of the family. The connection is still there, even though the form has changed.

For us, this is what relational fluidity looks like in practice. Not that relationships stay the same, but that they don’t have to end when they change.

It has allowed us to stay in connection, to keep love, and to let each relationship take the form that is true over time.

Marcos and I, walked the talk!

WHAT PEOPLE THINK

🌳 OUR TOOLKIT

Deep, Embodied, Transformational

Throughout the retreat, we’ll weave together practices and tools from:

🌿 Somatic Experiencing: to gently release stored tension and come back home to the body
🌿 NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model): to explore how early attachment patterns still shape your adult relationships and how to shift them
🌿 Family & Systemic Constellation Work: to honor the unique place each person holds in your life and clear unconscious relational entanglements
🌿 Dance & Movement Therapy: to let the body speak what words cannot and to move what’s stuck
🌿 Tantric Principles: to explore presence, polarity, and sacredness of intimacy
🌿 African Spirituality: honoring ancestral wisdom, rhythm, and communal healing through ritual, prayer, and embodiment

Each of these tools offers a different door into healing, insight, and integration so you can relate from a place of wholeness, not wounding.

💫 What we’ll explore:

  • The many layers of intimacy: Emotional, physical, spiritual, intellectual, and sexual

  • How to understand and explore your inner fluidity: relationship roles don’t have to be rigid; you can be in your truth, the strong or the sensitive one, the leading or the following, the masculine or the feminine

  • How to build relationship structures that feel true to who you are in each moment

  • How to identify your needs, and express them with acceptance and without shame

  • How to differentiate between acting from unmet childhood needs and showing up from your sovereign adult self

  • How to grow relationships instead of outgrowing them

  • Dance to live drums with Celso Paco from Mozambique! Because joy, rhythm, play, and togetherness are essential for deep healing

  • Why community is vital to a healthy nervous system and long-term emotional resilience

Dance, play, and connection will always be our foundation.
Because healing doesn’t have to be heavy.
It can be joyful, honest, wild, awkward, sacred, and alive.

🌊 This is not just a retreat.

It’s a call to grow up.
To meet yourself and others in truth.
To allow change and still stay connected.
To stop pretending you’re too much or not enough.
To let love evolve without losing yourself.

We would be so honored to walk this path with you.

With love,
Marcos & Li
