Our little baby boy Lotus is here!

Dear old and new friends, community and curious followers, it’s been a transforming last few months with the birth of our son. Settling into this new life in Copenhagen with my partner Adam now makes my roots and community in Stockholm even more important. I’ll be spending a couple of weeks in Stockholm and it’s hard to meet everyone, so we decided to invite you all to come and see us!

A Baby Ceremony

Instead of making an event for the adults to see Lotus, we have decided to create a space that is made for the baby and you are invited. Imagine a baby bubble where everything moves in slow motion, all words come from a place of love and any stress or thought outside of the here and now just drop. Soft rhythm, humming and community union. A three months old child has a very sensitive nervous system and a low capacity for many impressions. Therefore, we imagine the old sacred village times where we intuitively new this. Are you open to create coherence together with us?

How?

The doors open at 17h with soft music and landing. At 17.30 we will guide us into our ceremonial space with ourselves and each other. After blessing the arrival of Lotus, Adam and me will sit down and share about our experience becoming parents.

My work Grow Up has its roots in how I live and now more than ever do I have to practice what I teach daily. Pregnancy, birth, post-partum, moving city and holding a loving relationship alive at the same time is a lot - even for me. But thanks to the inner work previously made and the somatic tools I’ve learnt over the years to move through challenges, this time has been more joyous than anything else.

Mixing Private and Professional

You might wonder who this is for, but if you are reading this, it’s for you =) The last 10 years of building community have been fluid. Friends come to my courses, clients become my friends, so the “normal” separation people apply doesn’t really suit me. So whether you are a friend since many years, a previous course participant or someone who have just been following me in a distance - you are welcome, I’m looking forward to seeing you <3

Contribution

The evening doesn’t cost anything, and we don’t expect anything in return from you but your presence. But if you want, you are invited to contribute either by bringing snacks or Swish a contribution for the venue 0708-686784 with the message “Lotus"". We will provide tea and some snacks.

When & Where?

Feb 11, welcome for mingling and snacks 17:00, the Ceremony Starts at 17.30 and finish around 19, mainly to respect the Lotus need to withdraw.

At Kulturhuset Dieselverkstaden - Järnvägsgatan 23, Nacka.
