Grow Up!
A deep somatic retreat focusing on embodiment, relational wisdom and emotional maturity.
March 27-29, Uddebo
Live from your embodied, grown-up self!
Li Tadaa & Lotta Kasche are Coming to Uddebo!
My name is Max and I’m the one organizing this retreat. I have worked with supporting and organizing events at the World House in Uddebo for many years. The last three years I’ve also collaborated with Li Tadaa and the Grow Up work, which has touched me deeply in many ways.
This work reaches the core of many everyday conflicts, triggers and frustrations that tend to prevail even after years of inner work, such as meditation, medicine journeys and tantric practices.
Somatic attachment work could be called the “missing piece” that brings the bigger shift to our every day challenges and long term transformation. And I’m really happy to share it with you!
This work is often expensive, so I made a special request to Li and Lotta to come to Uddebo at a lower cost, and they said yes! Li’s baby Lotus will also come along and as a community we will support this weekend in true Uddebo spirit. This is my way of giving back to the people and places that has given me so much throughout the years.
This is a invitation only retreat on a hidden page on Li’s website, so if this has reached you, you’re special! :)
Invited people are allowed to invite their friends, so please pass the page on as well.
Li and Lotta are the main teachers and I will support with morning practices, somatic foundations and emotional support in the room.
I hope to see you in Uddebo!
In love & service,
Max Mo Katz
Do you recognize yourself in this?
You understand your triggers, yet still find yourself reacting in ways you don’t want
You focus more on others needs rather than your own
You want to closeness, but feel invaded when intimacy arises
You know what would help, but can’t reach it when you need it
You say yes when you want to say no, and vice versa
Then you’re in the right place.
A Weekend of Healthy Relating
This retreat is for you who has been on your journey for a while and is ready to grow up by adding this missing piece of attachment and understanding early childhood needs.
This is not about “being perfect,” or “ready” but about becoming more aware of your emotional patterns somatically, build capacity to hold them and learn how to navigate and love all your inner parts.
It’s about being more real, more grounded, more emotionally honest, and able to stay connected in the present momemt (to yourself and to others) when life gets challenging.
Together, we’ll explore attachment patterns, boundaries, nervous system regulation, intimacy, and the difference between adult needs and child needs, so we can stop re-enacting old stories and start building real connection.
Grow Up is a vast body of work created by Li Tadaa, weaving together therapeutic, somatic, shamanic, and spiritual approaches that Li has studied, lived and practiced personally.
(Somatic Experiencing, family Constellation & Dance therapy among others)
In this particular retreat we will focus on healthy relating and understanding when we are reenacting old patterns in our relationships and how to stop doing so.
Li jokingly calls this work "trauma fun," because of the combination of joy, dance and community as we approach some of our most difficult emotions. Also, the journey of growing up never really ends. It's not about being done, it's about staying at the edge of your potential and finding joy along the way.
Dance, play, and sexuality are just as vital as grief, fear, and anger. To “Grow Up” means to embody the full human experience.
In some communities it’s easy to end up only chasing the light, in others it’s common to get get stuck in the mud, only thinking about the next trauma to heal. Here we practice being the mature version of us that can embrace it all and know that we are always in the right place in our journey.
Rooted in Li's time living and working in Mozambique, Grow Up is built on the knowledge that healing is not an individual journey. The philosophy of Ubunto says; I am because we are. We believe in this.
The path to emotional maturity is not about fixing yourself alone, but about building relationships and practicing interconnection in community.
Community, Motherhood, and Uddebo
Uddebo, the location of our retreat, is a sanctuary for everyone that’s a bit weird in this world. It’s a place where people of all backgrounds gather and co-exist.
In a village with so much creativity, we welcome cocreated evenings after the dinners during the retreat weekend.
That can be music jams, sauna sessions, open stage or massage circles! The participants decide together.
This supports Li, who recently became a mother. The baby Lotus will join us for the retreat and needs a lot of care during the evenings.
This is also one reason that enables the lower price.
Who is this retreat for?
This weekend is for you if you want to:
Practice staying connected when things get intense
Build boundaries in relationships that feel clear and kind
Understand your attachment patterns in real time (not just in your head)
Learn embodied tools for regulation, conflict, intimacy, and repair
Explore the difference between adult needs and child needs — and meet both with respect
Do this in community, with guidance, movement, and grounded practices
No previous experience with somatic or therapeutic work is required, however this work tend to go deeper for those who have done a fair share of inner work previously.
When our connection to our body grows, we can create more ease, clarity, and choice, so that we can better meet life as it is today. We can dance, have healthier relationships, and experience more joy! :)
